How to install your travel eSIM

Use this guide if you’ve purchased a travel eSIM and need to install it before you can connect to the network.

What you’ll need

  • A compatible, unlocked device

  • A stable Wi-Fi connection

  • Your eSIM installation link or QR code (from your app or email)


Step-by-step: How to install your SIM

If you’re using an iPhone:

  1. Open your Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM.

    1. Choose one of the following:

      • QR code: Scan the code provided.

      • Installation link: Tap the link in your email or app.

      • Manual entry: Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code if provided.

    2. Tap Continue > Add Cellular Plan > Done.

    3. Restart your iPhone.

    4. Go back to Settings > Cellular and make sure your new line is turned ON.

If you’re using an Android device (eSIM supported):

  1. Open your Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs.

    1. Tap Add eSIM.

    2. Choose one of the following:

      • QR code: Scan the code provided.

      • Installation link: Tap the link in your email or app.

      • Manual entry: Enter the activation code if provided.

    3. Confirm the download and wait for activation.

    4. Restart your phone.

    (Samsung users: Settings may appear under Connections > SIM card manager.)


If your eSIM doesn’t install

  • Make sure your device is unlocked and eSIM compatible.

  • Ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi during installation.

  • Restart your device and try again.
